The Alzheimer's Society's Dementia Friends programme is the biggest ever initiative to change people's perceptions of dementia.  It aims to transform the way the nation thinks, acts and talks about the condition.

The Alzheimer Cafe is a lovely place to meet and has recently celebrated its 18th year.  These social events are for those who have dementia, their families, friends, professionals and anyone who is interested in learning more about the condition.  Meetings are held on the 3rd Friday of each month (except August) at St Peter's Parish Centre, 60 Church Avenue, Farnborough GU14 7AP.
